Curried wheat salad with peaches

 

200g (250ml) wheat

1 large green pepper , diced

1 large onion , chopped

1 tin (410g) peach slices drained

 

Dressing

 

50ml sunflower oil

3ml turmeric

6ml mediun curry powder

25ml chutney

25ml sugar

25ml vinegar

5ml soysause

 

Boil the wheat in salted water until done, rinse under cold water.

Place in a salad bowl.

Mix green pepper , onion and peach slices with the wheat.

Mix all the dressing ingredients.

The ingredients should be very well mixed or shaken in a sealed container to insure that the sugar dissolves.

Dress the wheat mixture and stir well.
